The stock turbo location has a narrow pathway under the intake manifold for the intake. This slim path only has room for a small turbo with a 2.4” inlet. PERRIN Rotated Uppipes place the turbo in the optimum position by rotating and mounting the turbo away from the intake manifold. This creates space for larger turbos and external wastegates while maintaining smooth transitions from uppipe to downpipe.
The PERRIN Rotated Uppipes are able to produce as much horsepower as the turbo you choose allows.
The PERRIN Rotated Uppipe is formed from 2", 304 stainless steel tubing that is precision mandrel-bent, eliminating the need for a flex joint. The 1/2" CNC flanges are machined from 304 stainless steel and counterbored for smoother transitions. Integrated CNC machined mounting bracket fully supports the turbo using OEM brackets.
The PERRIN Rotated Uppipe was originally designed to fit the internal wastegated EFR Turbos utilizing a T3 inlet flange. The uppipe also fits other popular internal wastegated turbos from Garrett that have T3 style inlet flanges. This allows for many choices on brands and desired horsepower levels.
Proper ECU Tuning is required for the safe operation of the engine with this product. Engine performance and fuel economy will also suffer without tuning.
